About Us

I’ve wanted children since my earliest memories playing with cabbage patch kids.  I always knew I would be a mother and growing up, all I wanted was a family of my own to nurture and take care of.  Being a teenager was hard because I wanted a baby but didn’t want to be a “teenage mother” so I waited.  I found the perfect Father to Be and Husband at a young age.   We married young and bought a house right away.  We spent three years getting to know eachother, finding our rhythm.  Our son Sweetlove is absolutely the light of our lives.  I actually didn’t believe in God before I had him.  Once I gave birth to him, I began to realize my faith and could not imagine a miracle like him existing without a God.  Our lives are enriched by countless times over since he came into our world.  Being a mother has fulfilled my heart and soul.  That sounds so cheesy, I know, but there’s really no other way to explain it.  He’s added a dimension to my life that I never knew was possible.

So when it was time to add another child to our family, I never expected this struggle.  But we are better for it.  We have learned patience and strength.  We have learned about eachother, our weaknesses and our strenghths.  I’ve learned I’m damn lucky to have the husband that I do, and that no matter what happens in our future ~ we’ll be OK.  And I know we will continue to learn as we travel this road further, hopefully finding our pot of gold sooner than later.

That is a beautiful summary. And I love the new template. It just oozes peace – which is something that I think is hard to find sometimes. And I love the new name too.

You seem like an amazing and very patient woman! There is a baby out there in an orphanage who needs you.
